Citizens Bank opens full-service branch inside Cambridge Dunkin' Donuts® location
Citizens' second Dunkin' Donuts branch provides one-stop convenience for busy customers on-the-go
BOSTON (September 15, 2011) As part of their shared commitment to convenience and to serving the needs of busy customers, Citizens Bank and Dunkin’ Donuts today announced the opening of a new full-service Citizens Bank branch inside the Dunkin’ Donuts location at 808 Memorial Drive in Cambridge, the second branch of its kind. Citizens Bank opened the first-ever bank branch inside a Bellingham Dunkin' Donuts in 2009.
“We are very excited to partner with Dunkin’ Donuts, one of New England’s great companies, to open another Citizens Bank branch in a Dunkin’ Donuts,” said Jerry Sargent, President, Citizens Bank, Massachusetts. “This is a mutually beneficial partnership that will make it easy for a Dunkin’ Donuts customer who comes in for a breakfast sandwich to open a new bank account or apply for a mortgage and for a Citizens customer who visits the branch in the afternoon to also get a great cup of coffee. Our customers have very busy lives, and our goal with this and other co-located branches is to make it as easy as possible for our customers to take care of their banking needs when, where and how they want.”

The full-service Citizens Bank branch features three teller windows and a full-service ATM. It also has two private offices to best serve the individual banking needs of its customers. The Dunkin' Donuts restaurant offers customers its full line of world class beverages as well as dozens of varieties of donuts, baked goods and sandwiches.
Customers can bank at the branch Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., as well as Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Dunkin' Donuts restaurant is open every day from 4:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. The Citizens Bank ATM is available to customers during the restaurant’s hours of operation.
As part of the partnership, Citizens is offering customers at the branch a $25 Dunkin’ Donuts gift card for opening a new personal checking account and a $50 Dunkin’ Donuts gift card for opening a new business checking account. It will also raffle four $50 Dunkin’ Donuts gift cards.
Citizens Bank and Dunkin’ Donuts will host a grand opening at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 16 at the Cambridge location. As part of its commitment to supporting the communities it serves, the branch will present a $2,000 donation to CitySprouts, a Cambridge-based nonprofit organization that introduces school gardens as a core element of children’s public school education.
In addition, Citizens Bank and Dunkin’ Donuts will host a family fun day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 17. There will be a caricaturist and balloon artist and radio station WZLX will broadcast live from the event.
