Citizens Private Bank Expands into Greater Philadelphia
Addition of two experienced relationship managers builds on Citizens’ deep regional roots, as the Private Bank marks three years of continued growth and momentum
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (October 15, 2026) – Citizens today announced the entrance of Citizens Private Bank into the Greater Philadelphia region with the addition of experienced relationship managers Matthew Stanton and Nick Maiorana. The expansion enhances Citizens' ability to serve high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners through the Private Bank's high-touch, relationship-driven model. It also builds on Citizens' longstanding presence in Philadelphia, where the enterprise has maintained deep commercial and consumer banking relationships for decades, in addition to support for the region’s community organizations and cultural institutions.
Philadelphia is the latest market expansion for Citizens Private Bank as it continues to grow its national footprint since its launch in October 2023. Built on an integrated model that combines private banking, lending and wealth management through a single relationship team, the expansion brings these capabilities to one of the nation's most established wealth markets while building on Citizens' long-standing presence in the region. The business has grown to 10 Private Banking Offices across key markets nationwide and, as of June 30, 2026, held approximately $17.8 billion in deposits, $9.7 billion in loans, and $11.2 billion in client wealth assets.
