Citizens Advises Alabama Motor Express on its Acquisition of JIT-EX
PROVIDENCE, RI – Citizens Capital Markets & Advisory announced today that it served as exclusive financial advisor to Alabama Motor Express, an asset-based truckload and third-party logistics solutions provider headquartered in Dothan, AL, on its acquisition of JIT-EX, a Memphis-based regional and truckload transportation provider.
AMX and JIT-EX represent a highly complementary combination of asset-based transportation platforms with strong regional density and customer relationships. AMX brings a diversified, hybrid model that integrates truckload capacity with brokerage and logistics services across a Southeastern network, while JIT-EX contributes a scaled regional trucking footprint with deep expertise in regional, dedicated and over-the-road services along its key freight corridors.
