Citizens Advises Saint-Gobain Subsidiary CertainTeed on the Divestiture of its Fencing, Railing and Decking Division to Oldcastle APG
PROVIDENCE, RI – Citizens M&A Advisory announced today that it served as the exclusive financial advisor to CertainTeed, a subsidiary of Saint-Gobain, on the divestiture of its Fencing, Railing and Decking division to Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company.
With operating assets in Buffalo, N.Y., and Orem, Utah, CertainTeed's division is a market-leading manufacturer of premium extruded and rotationally molded polymer fencing, railing and decking products and related accessories under the Bufftech®, SimTek® and EverNew® brands. The divestiture will enable CertainTeed to focus on growth and investment in its core businesses and leading position in light and sustainable construction. The acquisition will continue Oldcastle’s strategic investments in fencing and outdoor building products after acquiring Barrette Outdoor Living in 2022.
