Citizens Capital Markets’ Bowstring advises J&J Services, Inc. on its recapitalization investment from Main Street Capital Corporation

PROVIDENCE, RI – Bowstring Advisors, a division of Citizens Capital Markets, served as the exclusive financial advisor to J&J Services, Inc., a leading waste services provider serving the greater Nashville market, on its minority recapitalization investment from Main Street Capital Corporation, a Houston-based publicly-traded business development company (NYSE:MAIN).

J&J offers roll-off dumpster and portable toilet rental services to an expansive base of residential construction, commercial construction, and demolition customers. Driven by the company’s highly responsive, customer-centric service approach, J&J has developed numerous longstanding relationships with regional and national contractors operating throughout the rapidly growing Nashville and middle Tennessee markets.

“Bowstring provided invaluable counsel to my family as we navigated the effort to find the right partner for J&J. The Bowstring team invested the time to truly understand our business, expertly positioned J&J to a diverse set of potential partners and designed a process that delivered a spectacular outcome for our shareholders and employees. We look forward to working with David Morse, Ryan Sugrue and the Bowstring team in the future.” said John Biles Jr., President and CEO of J&J Services, Inc.

“J&J’s exceptional growth is a testament to the best-in-class service levels and value proposition the company provides for its loyal customers,” said David Morse, Director at Bowstring. “John and the Biles family have built an impressive company with multiple expansion opportunities, and sought a partner to support their growth while preserving J&J’s customer-centric culture. Main Street’s flexible capital and entrepreneurial approach are a perfect fit for J&J, and we look forward to the company’s continued growth and success.”
