RBS Citizens Financial Group Appoints Ellen Taylor as Executive Vice President and Head of Investor Relations

Providence, R.I. – RBS Citizens Financial Group (RBSCFG) has announced the appointment of Ellen Taylor as Executive Vice President and Head of Investor Relations. In her new role, Taylor will develop, implement and lead a comprehensive investor relations program for the bank as it prepares for a partial initial public offering later this year and a series of follow-on offerings, all previously announced by the bank’s current owner, RBS Group.

Taylor, who brings more than 25 years of banking, capital markets and investor relations experience, will report to Chief Financial Officer John Fawcett.

“Ellen has a wealth of experience in banking and investor relations, and we are excited to welcome her to RBSCFG,” Fawcett said. “As we pursue our strategy of becoming an independent, standalone bank, Ellen’s expertise will be extremely valuable in helping us engage with investors as a publicly owned company.”

Before joining RBSCFG, Taylor was a principal at McIver Taylor Group, providing investor relations and funding services to financial services clients. Her track record of success includes significant experience as a leader in investor relations at Wachovia Corporation, where she held positions in capital markets, leasing and commercial banking, and as managing director for investor relations at BlackRock, Inc.

Taylor holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics-management from Salem College.
