Citizens Bank Supports the Life is good Festival as Exclusive Financial Banking Services Sponsor
Good Citizenship Volunteer Program to Enable The Life is good Kids Foundation Fundraising Effort for Children
BOSTON (August 28, 2013) – Citizens Bank today announced it is partnering with Life is good as the exclusive financial banking services sponsor for the fourth annual Life is good Festival that takes place September 21 and 22 at Prose Farm in Canton, Massachusetts.
"We are excited to be the exclusive financial banking services sponsor and to marry our core beliefs regarding good citizenship to Life is good's positive purpose," said Jerry Sargent, President, Citizens Bank and RBS Citizens, Massachusetts. "Our sponsorship of the Good Citizenship Volunteer Program will support the Life is good Festival in raising funds for The Life is good Kids Foundation, which helps children in need through the power of play."
As part of this partnership, Citizens Bank will be the sole sponsor of the Good Citizenship Volunteer Program, which enables more than 2,000 volunteers to bring the festival to life. Good Citizenship Volunteers will have the opportunity to help out with event production, greeting, games, face painting and many other activities that make the two-day music festival run smoothly.

Jack Johnson, Daryl Hall & John Oates, The Roots and Amos Lee are among the artists that will headline this year's Festival. They will be joined by kids' acts like YO GABBA GABBA! and Recess Monkey. Tickets are on sale now at Lifeisgood.com/Festival. Adult tickets are $65 for one day or $120 for a two-day pass. Children's tickets are $20 for one day or $35 for a two-day pass. Admission is free for children aged 2 and younger. Festival goers who raise $500 or more are called V.G.P.'s — Very Good People — and will be rewarded with backstage hospitality, preferred concert viewing, artist meet and greets, and other perks.
More than 30,000 expected attendees will have the opportunity to take part in an onsite social media contest during the Festival. Using the hash tags #goodcitizen and #LIGFEST, Festival-goers will have the chance to win free Life is good gear and gain access to the exclusive V.G.P. area.
