RBS Citizens Business Capital names Steven Katz to lead new Lender Finance Group
BOSTON (December 5, 2013) – RBS Citizens Business Capital announces the launch of its new Lender Finance Group and has named Wells Fargo veteran Steven Katz to lead the group as Senior Vice President and Sales Leader. Katz will be based in Stamford, CT.
RBS Citizens Business Capital’s Lender Finance Group will provide asset-based financing to specialty finance companies such as asset-based lenders and factoring companies along with equipment finance and leasing companies.

Katz was most recently Vice President and Senior Underwriter of the Lender Finance Division at Wells Fargo Capital Finance, where he underwrote transactions for a variety of specialty commercial finance companies.
Previous to Wells Fargo Capital Finance, Katz was a Managing Director at Syncora Guarantee. He also held senior roles at Fitch Ratings and Bear Stearns, with a focus on consumer and commercial finance companies.

Katz is a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and was credit trained at NatWest Bank USA.
