Easton resident awarded top "40 under 40" honor for representing the next wave of talent in Boston economy
RBS Citizens Financial Group's Quincy Miller recognized for business and community leadership
BOSTON (November 29, 2012) – RBS Citizens Financial Group announced that Executive Vice President and Business Banking Director Quincy Miller of Easton, Mass. has been recognized in a "40 under 40" list of business and civic leaders who collectively represent the next wave of talent and commitment in the Boston economy.
The Boston Business Journal annually composes the list, with more than 300 nominations considered this year, the publication said. The 40 honorees are younger than 40 years old.
"Quincy's '40 under 40' recognition is a reflection of his outstanding commitment to our customers, colleagues and the communities we serve," said Jerry Sargent, President, RBS Citizens and Citizens Bank, Massachusetts. "This award marks Quincy's second '40 under 40' recognition as he was featured on Crain's Cleveland Business list in 2008, and it is a testament to his exceptional record of leadership."
Miller leads the Business Banking organization for RBS Citizens Financial Group (RBSCFG), overseeing more than 500 colleagues who support the banking needs of small business customers across the12 states served by RBSCFG's Citizens Bank and Charter One brands. He is also a member of RBSCFG's Executive Leadership Group.
Prior to this role, Miller served as the Director of Retail Branch Banking for Citizens Bank, responsible to overseeing more than 130 branches and 1,100 Retail Banking colleagues.
In addition to his service with the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts, an organization with a commitment of building stronger communities for more than 95 years, Miller has also served on the Board of Directors for the YMCA and Big Brothers Big Sisters organizations.
Miller received a B.S. in Economics and Business from Lafayette College. He also graduated from the Consumer Banking Association Graduate School of Retail Bank Management.
