Citizens Bank makes banking more convenient across New York with expanded banking hours at 52 seven-day supermarket branches across the state
Expansion adds 176 banking hours each week across the state – more than 9,100 additional hours annually
ALBANY, N.Y. (October 4, 2012) - Citizens Bank announced today that it has expanded banking hours at 52 of its 63 supermarket branches in New York, creating standardized banking hours at all 63 supermarket branches, which are open every day. Banking hours at Citizens Bank’s traditional branches and its Starbucks locations remain unchanged.
With these extended hours, Citizens Bank has added 176 more banking hours every week in New York, or more than 9,100 hours every year, making it easier for customers to manage their banking needs and their busy schedules.
Citizens Bank’s full-service seven-day supermarket branches across the state are now open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Citizens Bank’s expansion of supermarket banking hours is the latest example of the bank’s commitment to making banking convenient for its customers. Earlier this year, the bank announced a significant enhancement of its online and mobile banking services that have made it even easier for customers to directly access their accounts around the clock, wherever they are.
Across the state, Citizens Bank maintains 159 traditional and supermarket branches. Its customers also have access to 386 ATMs in New York and to customer service at any time via the bank’s 24/7 Customer Contact Center.
